Hello everyone, welcome again to my image-heavy photo journal! ^^ This time I'm proud to present pictures from Yukari and Kitty-nee-chans' NorCal Spring Gathering! I was super excited when I learned this was going to be more of a phototaking opportunity and immediately geared up Shunji (beloved D40) for travel. Sadly, I ended up forgetting a lot of my equipment ^^;; Only had the main lens and UV filter on (FAIL) No flash unit, no reflectors, and no HAIR GEL! (AHHHHHH) Anyways, on to the pictures ^^;;

While I'm at it, I'll also say that all these pictures are RAW images. No editing was done to any of them (as I have yet to install Photoshop on my new computer) except rotation. Sorry, didn't have time to sort by character, either @_@ The photos are, however, ordered as they were in my camera (aka. chronological order) so the earlier shots are earlier, later shots later, etc. etc.

GROUP PART A: shots near the front gate of our original group; many people arrived while we were shooting within the garden.

Next, to the Bamboo Garden! Sadly, the actual Bamboo Garden was closed; we took some shots in the bonsai garden near it >w< We decided to split up into two groups, then switch photographers/settings. In the end, people ended up just running around wherever they wanted to. ^^;; Not to mention deciding groups. . . "Okay, you know what?? Everyone on this side of the gate, come this way! Everyone on that side, go that way! There! Was that really so hard??" It's tough when the characters are from lots of different series ^^;;

Running back to the Bamboo Garden. . . it was strangely hard to get everyone over there (mostly cuz they were getting pulled over by other photographers xD;)
